New Promotional Image for 'Shaman King Flowers

The official website of 'Shaman King Flowers,' the sequel to the successful anime series based on Hiroyuki Takei's manga, 'Shaman King,' unveiled its main image and announced an exciting additional cast this Tuesday.

The stars bringing the characters to life in this production are:

- Yoko Hikasa as Hana Asakura
- Katsuyuki Konishi as Amidamaru
- Sumire Uesaka portraying Alumi Niumbirch
- Shun Horie as Yohane Asakura
- Michiko Kaiden as Gakko Ibuki
- Romi Park in the role of Tao Men

The returning original cast includes previously announced names:

- Nana Mizuki reprises her role as Tamao Tamamura
- Takumu Miyazono as Ponchi
- Noriaki Kanze as Konchi
- Masahiko Tanaka as Ryūnosuke Umemiya
- Wataru Takagi playing Tokagerō

The new cast and the characters they will portray are:

- Ami Koshimizu as Luca Asakura
- Kentaro Ito in the role of Daiky® Oboro
- Kenta Miyake as Ryuuji Ichihara
- Chihiro Ueda portraying Namaha

The anime's release date is scheduled for January 2024.

Takeshi Furuta, who previously directed 'Utano☆Princesama Legend Star,' returns as the anime's director at Bridge. Shoji Yonemura once again takes charge of the series' scripts, while Mayuko Yamamoto takes over from Satohiko Sano in character design.

Takei launched 'Shaman King Flowers,' the sequel focused on Hana, in the 'Jump X' magazine in 2012 and concluded it in the magazine's final issue in 2014. Later, Takei started the new spin-off 'Shaman King The Super Star' in 2017, although he put it on hold in September 2021. Kodansha USA Publishing publishes both series in English.

The new 'Shaman King' anime premiered in April 2021. Netflix began streaming it worldwide in August 2022, and the series concluded with 52 exciting episodes.

This anime adapted the 35 volumes of the new complete edition of the original manga, which Kodansha began publishing in print volumes in Japan in June 2020. The first animated adaptation of the manga premiered in 2001.
