Promotional Video and Release Date for 'Burn the Witch #0.8

The official website for Tite Kubo's anime 'Burn The Witch' surprised fans this past Monday by unveiling the key visual, the main promotional video, and announcing a new cast member. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the highly anticipated anime adaptation of the manga's prologue, 'Burn the Witch #0.8,' created by Kubo in 2018, will be released worldwide on December 29. The promotional video also provided a preview of the theme song titled 'PROVE,' performed by NiL.

This exciting anime will premiere and stream simultaneously worldwide on December 29, which is sure to thrill fans of the work.

Tatsurō Kawano, who was previously in charge of the anime film 'Burn The Witch' in 2020, returns as the director for this new installment, 'Burn the Witch #0.8,' which is part of the Yamahitsuji/Studio Colorido team.

The story immerses us in a London where 72% of all deaths are related to dragons, fantastic beings invisible to most people. Only residents of Reverse London, on the hidden side of the city, can see these dragons, and even then, only a few can qualify as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them.

The story centers on the witch duo, Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole, who are protection agents of Wing Bind (WB), an organization dedicated to the conservation and management of dragons in London. Their mission is to protect and manage these beings on behalf of the people.

The serialized manga initially consisted of a total of four chapters and debuted on August 24, 2020. Viz Media publishes the manga in English and also released the original 2018 one-shot manga prologue in English. Additionally, a 'Season 2' sequel of the manga was announced, promising even more excitement and mysteries to uncover.
