New video, promotional image, and release date for Bucchigiri?!

The official page of renowned director Hiroko Utsumi and the original production by MAPPA, "Bucchigiri," unveiled the main cast and the release date, scheduled for January 13, in its main trailer last Friday. The accompanying video includes English subtitles.

The stellar cast of the anime includes:

- Genki Okawa as Arajin Tomoshibi
- Masafumi Kobatake as Majin Senya
- Anna Nagase as Mahoro
- Yusuke Hoshino as Matakara Asamine
- Jiro Saito as Kenichiro
- Yukihiro Nozuyama as Zabú
- Kappei Yamaguchi as Komao
- Nozomu Sasaki as Marito
- Ryota Takeuchi as Outa
- Makoto Furukawa as Jabashiri
- Shouta Hayama as Hagure
- Chihiro Suzuki as Akutaro

Kroi will perform the opening theme titled "Sesame."

The anime's "yankee x Arabian Nights" storyline revolves around Arajin Tomoshibi, who reunites with his old best friend, Matakara Asamine. Their encounter sets off a series of intense battles against formidable opponents.

Crunchyroll will handle the anime's streaming during its airing. In addition to directing, Utsumi is credited as the creative force behind the original story, collaborating with supervisor and scriptwriter Taku Kishimoto, along with MAPPA and TOHO. Takahiro Kagami serves as the character designer and one of the main animation directors, working alongside Hiroyuki Saita and Kiminori Itō. Michiru Oshima is in charge of the music, and Hiromi Kikuta serves as the sound director.

It's worth noting that Utsumi and MAPPA previously collaborated on the anime Banana Fish. Additionally, Utsumi has directed other notable anime such as Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club, Free! Eternal Summer, and both seasons of the original anime Sk8 the Infinity.
