On Monday, the official Twitter account of the 'Liar, Liar' franchise, based on the light novels by Haruki Kuō, announced that the series will come to its conclusion with the release of Volume 15, scheduled for November 25.

Published in English by Yen Press, the series unfolds at the Academy, an island-sized institution where students fiercely compete for ranks. Hiroto Shinohara not only passed the country's most rigorous exam with top grades to enter but also defeated the reigning champion from the previous year on his first day, reaching the highest rank in record time. However, there's a small detail: none of that happened. The truth is that he made a big mistake, and now he must maintain his position at the Academy no matter what happens. In this intriguing environment, where lies are commonplace, a world of deception unfolds!

The novel series, illustrated by konomi, a member of the illustrator unit Kinokonomi, debuted in April 2019 under Kadokawa's MF Bunko imprint. Volume 14 was shipped on July 25, and Yen Press acquired the English publishing rights, with the second volume scheduled for release on November 28.

Additionally, Funa Yukina adapted the story into a manga, serialized in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Alive since August 2019. The second compiled volume was released in November 2020.

The series also served as the inspiration for an anime that debuted on July 22. Crunchyroll provides the anime's streaming with English subtitles and English dub.
