During the exciting online event "Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai Online 2023," Kadokawa made a surprising announcement by revealing that a new anime project is in development based on the light novel series "I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World" (also known as "Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru"), created by Miku and beautifully illustrated by Rein Kuwashima. Currently, no information has been provided regarding the format of this new work.

The first animated adaptation of this series premiered on April 6 and featured 13 thrilling episodes that captured the audience's attention.

Yen Press, responsible for the English publication of the light novels and manga adaptation, describes the plot as follows:

"A door to another world opens before a child who has been brutally bullied all his life. This alternate reality grants him access to all sorts of things, such as cheat skills and a portal that allows him to travel between his old world and the new one! Can this class loser change his life at home...?"

This successful literary franchise has managed to sell more than 3 million copies worldwide, and the fourteenth light novel was released in Japan on June 20. The manga, on the other hand, has reached its fifth volume, which was released on August 25. In addition to the main series, the franchise includes three derivative novels.

Fans can also immerse themselves in the world of "I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World" through a browser game titled "Isekai de Cheat Skill o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musōsuru – Level Up wa Jinsei o Kaeta: Parallel Universe." This MMORPG was launched worldwide in Japanese, English, traditional Chinese, and Korean on the G123 platform in July. The game is free to play but offers optional in-game purchases for an even more immersive experience.
