The "Date A Live" anime series has captivated fans across previous seasons. The first season premiered in 2013 with 12 thrilling episodes, followed by the second season in 2014 with 10 episodes. Funimation streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan and later released them on Blu-ray Disc and DVD with English dubbing.

The third season arrived in January 2019, comprising 12 episodes, with streaming on Crunchyroll and a simuldub option provided by Funimation. The fourth season premiered in April 2022, after a brief delay from its original release date due to "various reasons." Crunchyroll handled the streaming and also offered an English dub.

The original light novel series, written by Koushi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako, debuted in March 2011 and concluded with the 22nd volume in March 2020, published under Kadokawa's Fantasia Bunko imprint. The light novels will also be released in English through Yen Press.

The "Date A Live" universe extends beyond the novels, having inspired various manga adaptations and video games. Furthermore, the spin-off novels "Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet" by Yuichiro Higashide led to an exciting two-part anime adaptation in 2020.
