On Thursday, the publisher Comic Earth made an exciting announcement through the official Twitter account of the Comic Earth Star magazine: the light novel 'Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan daga' (The Unemployed Hero Doesn't Need Something Like Skills) will be brought to the screen in the form of a television anime series. Along with this announcement, a captivating teaser for the work was revealed, which is an original creation by Shichio Kuzu.

'Mushoku no Eiyū' is a novel that Shichio Kuzu has been writing since November 2017 on the web novel platform Shōsetsu-ka ni Narou, and Comic Earth Entertainment has been publishing it in print format since July 2018. This novel series consists of four volumes, all of them illustrated by Yumehito Ueda, with the last one released in June 2019. In addition to the recently announced anime adaptation, the story has also been adapted into a manga in the pages of Comic Earth Star magazine since November 2018, under the pen of Akio Nanae. The seventh volume of this manga adaptation is scheduled to be released in Japan on October 12.

The story's plot unfolds in a world where "classes" are assigned at the age of ten, and the presence or absence of "skills" has a significant impact on people's lives. Arel, the child of the 'Sword Princess' Fara and the 'Magic King' Leon, has been classified as 'Classless.' However, despite lacking a job and skills, Arel is convinced that he can progress with effort and determination.
