Last Thursday, an exciting website was launched to unveil details about the upcoming original anime "Nanare Hananare," a collaboration between P.A. Works and DMM.com, with a scheduled release date for the next year. In addition to presenting an intriguing teaser video, the website also shared a representative image and crucial details about the core team behind this new production. The teaser, in particular, hints that there will be more information about the anime, and its debut is set for January 25.

The plot of this original coming-of-age anime explores the diverse paths of six high school girls, each with distinct talents, personalities, and hobbies, as they find support in their everyday lives. The teaser image reveals the main character against the backdrop of a city in Gunma Prefecture.

The anime is directed by Koudai Kakimoto (Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko, BanG Dream!), who is also in charge of scriptwriting. Tomomi Takada (Komada – A Whiskey Family), an experienced key and in-between animator from P.A. Works, has created the original character design concepts, while Kanami Sekiguchi (Shirobako, Ya Boy Kongming!) handles character animation. The scripts are the work of Kakimoto, Yuniko Ayana, and Midori Gotou. P.A. Works and DMM.com are credited as producers.

It's worth noting that P.A. Works and DMM.com are also the producers of the upcoming anime movie "Komada – A Whiskey Family," scheduled for release in Japan this Friday.
