The official website for Kai Ikada's television anime "Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable" began streaming its second trailer on Wednesday. In this exciting video, the anime's musical themes were revealed along with the highly anticipated premiere date set for January 8. Masayoshi Ōishi lends his voice to the captivating opening theme titled “Namaramenkoi Gyaru” (Super Adorable Gal), which can be enjoyed in the following clip. On the other hand, Asaka performs the closing theme titled “Wayawayawa-!” (Enchanting Madness).

The anime is set to debut on TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, and BS TV Tokyo on January 8, a date that has been eagerly awaited after initially being planned for release this year.

Mirai Minato, known for her work on "Masamune-kun's Revenge" and "BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense," serves as the chief director and oversees the series' scripts. Misuzu Hoshino, episode director for "Laid-Back Camp" and "The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!," takes the helm as director at SILVER LINK. and BLADE, while Katsuyuki Sato, character designer for "My Stepmother's Daughter Is My Ex" and "Fire in His Fingertips -My Childhood Friend Is a Firefighter-," breathes life into the characters.

Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform is responsible for publishing the manga in English and provides the following synopsis of the story:

Tsubasa, a young high school student, moves to the city of Kitami in Hokkaido, where his encounter with an enigmatic "girl" at a bus stop changes his life. Seeing her standing alone in the snowy landscape, with bare legs despite the freezing weather, captivates his heart.

Ikada launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ app in September 2019, and the eleventh compiled volume was released on July 4.
