The YouTube channel Shonen Jump released an intriguing teaser on Wednesday to announce that the manga "Magilumiere Co. Ltd." by Sekka Iwata and Yū Aoki will be adapted into a television anime by Moe and J.C. Staff studios, scheduled for the year 2024.

Fairouz Ai and Yumiri Hanamori will take on the roles of Kana Sakuragi and Hitomi Koshigaya, respectively.

Under the direction of Masahiro Hiraoka from Moe (known for his work as the CG director on the second season of One-Punch Man TV and Planet With), the anime will be a collaborative effort between Moe and J.C. Staff. Shingo Nagai (renowned for his contributions to Girly Air Force and Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3) will oversee and write the series' scripts, while Hidehiro Asama will handle character design. The music will be composed by Makoto Miyazaki (known for his work on One-Punch Man and Spy×Family), and Masafumi Mima will oversee sound production.

The manga, available in English through Viz and MANGA Plus, tells the captivating magical story set in a workplace:

"A magical girl"? This is the occupation tasked with confronting and eliminating a type of natural disaster known as "Kaii." Kana Sakuragi, a university student immersed in the job search, is recruited by a new magical girl company, and thus begins her career as a Magical Girl!

The creators, Iwata and Aoki, launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ service in October 2021, and the ninth volume was published by Shueisha on October 4.
