Shogakukan has announced the inclusion of the highly anticipated volume 18 of the manga 'Call of the Night' (Yofukashi no Uta) by Kotoyama as a pivotal chapter in the final stretch of this captivating story. The release date for this volume is scheduled for November 17.

Viz Media has acquired the license for this intriguing manga and recently released volume 13 on September 12. The work is described as follows:

Nanakusa is a vampire, a fact that doesn't faze Ko, a human with a similar longing. However, the desired transformation doesn't come easily. When Nazuna invites Ko to spend the night at her home, located in an abandoned building, excitement flows. However, upon waking up, he finds himself with kisses on his neck and excessive bites. Is it the irresistible taste of his blood that motivates these nocturnal encounters, conversations, and naps, or is there a deeper backstory? The situation complicates when a lovely girl from Yamori's past appears and competes for Ko's attention, testing his budding relationship with the undead.

Kotoyama, known for their work on 'Dagashi Kashi,' began the manga 'Call of the Night' in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in August 2019. The manga inspired an anime series that debuted in July 2022. HIDIVE streamed the anime with English subtitles during its broadcast in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks released the anime on Blu-ray Disc on September 5.

Kotoyama started the manga 'Dagashi Kashi' in Weekly Shonen Sunday in June 2014, concluding it in April 2018. The series was nominated for the Kodansha Manga Awards in 2017. Shogakukan published the final volume of the manga in May 2018. 'Dagashi Kashi' also had two anime seasons, with Funimation streaming the series in English.
