Kadokawa unveiled an exclusive preview during their participation in the "Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai Online 2023" live event this past Saturday. This surprise included an exhilarating promotional video and the introduction of the team behind the highly anticipated second season of the anime adaptation of Kei Sazane and Ao Nekonabe's popular light novels, titled "Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World" (also known as "Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjō, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen").
The direction of the new season is in the capable hands of Yuki Inaba, who previously excelled in the series "KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World," in collaboration with Studio Palette and SILVER LINK studios. Studio Palette also takes on the creative direction of the series. The talented character designer Kaori Yoshikawa, known for her work on "KamiKatsu," is responsible for bringing the characters in this series to life. The experienced Yukio Nagasaki, recognized for his work on "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War," will oversee sound direction through Bit Grooove Promotion. The music that will accompany the series is composed by Elements Garden, famous for their involvement in franchises such as "Uta no Prince Sama" and "Symphogear," and it will be produced by Pony Canyon.
Fans will have to wait until 2024 to enjoy the new season, as the premiere was postponed from its initial scheduling for this year. However, it has been confirmed that Crunchyroll will be the platform responsible for streaming this highly anticipated installment.
