The team behind the highly anticipated anime series 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess,' created by Robinson Haruhara and Hirakei, has released a 30-second commercial on the Sho-Pro YouTube channel, unveiling exciting updates. This preview showcases a glimpse of the band's opening theme titled 'Massakasa Magic!' and also confirms the anime's release date on January 8.

The ending theme, 'Ashita was Ashita no Kaze ga Fuku,' will be performed by the talented group LEEVELLES.

The anime's cast features prominent actors and actresses, including:
- Haruka Shiraishi as the princess.
- Chikahiro Kobayashi as the ex.
- Shizuka Itou in the role of Tortura Tortura.
- Tesshō Genda portraying the Lord of Hell.
- Anna Nagase bringing Yoki to life.
- Honoka Inoue as Inki.
- Aya Yamane as Cral.
- Ai Kayano as the giant.
- Rina Hidaka playing Mao Mao.
- Mai Nakahara as Lulune.

The anime is directed by Yōko Kanemori (known for her work on 'The Ancient Magus’ Bride' and as an episode director on 'Attack on Titan') at PINE JAM studio. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, known for his scriptwriting in series like 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime' and 'In the Land of Leadale,' will oversee the series. Character design is handled by Toshiya Kōno and Satoshi Furuhashi, while the music is composed by Masaru Yokoyama.

The original manga began serialization on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ service in Japan in April 2019 and has garnered over 200 million views. Shueisha released the 12th compiled volume on July 4. The story follows a captive princess subjected to ruthless torture by the Infernal Horde, providing a plot full of intrigue and action.

Haruhara's creative roots include 'Senyū,' which inspired two anime series in 2013, and 'Haruhara Gakumon! The Manga ~Ōkami Shōjo wa Kujikenai~,' which also had a Flash anime adaptation in 2014. Additionally, Haruhara launched 'Suginami Tōbatsu Kōmuin – Dungeon Kinmu no Hitobito' on Shonen Jump+ in January 2018, concluding with its fourth volume in April 2019.
