Aniplex USA unveiled the official trailer for the second season of the television anime based on Hajime Kōmoto's manga "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" on Saturday. This video, though identical to the one released on November 11, now features English subtitles. Additionally, the title of the second season is revealed as "Mashle: Magic and Muscles The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc."

The upcoming season will cover the "Shinkakusha Kōho Senbatsu Shiken-Hen" (The arc of the Divine Visionary Candidate Exam) and is scheduled to premiere in January.

The first season premiered in Japan on April 7, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime during its original broadcast and in its English dubbed version.

The anime is directed by Tomonari Tanaka (Engage Kiss, Visual Prison) at A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia in its six seasons, Mobile Suit Gundam 00) oversees the series' scripts, and Hisashi Higashijima (known for key animation in Tada Never Falls in Love) handles character design. The musical composition is by Masaru Yokoyama (2019 Fruits Basket, Astra Lost in Space).

The anime is presented as a "complete" adaptation.

Both Viz Media's Shonen Jump service and Shueisha's MANGA Plus service publish the manga digitally in English, with Viz Media also releasing printed versions. Shueisha describes the story as a magical world where magic is omnipresent, but deep in the forest resides a young man who, despite lacking magical abilities, lives peacefully with his father. However, his life is threatened, and the question arises as to whether his well-trained muscles will be enough to protect him from magic users seeking to capture him. Thus begins this extraordinary magical fantasy where powerfully trained muscles defy magic.
