The official website for the anime based on the manhwa "Solo Leveling" by writer Chugong and the late artist DUBU (REDICE Studio) made an exciting announcement on Wednesday. They revealed that the idol group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, associated with BTS, and the renowned composer Hiroyuki Sawano (SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]) will join forces to perform the captivating opening song "LEveL." A teaser has been released on the website, giving fans an exciting preview of the song. Additionally, the anime will make its global debut with the first two episodes scheduled for screenings in Tokyo and Seoul on December 10, followed by a presentation in Los Angeles on December 14.
The single for the song "LEveL" is expected to be available starting on January 24.
The anime's release date is set for January.

Crunchyroll announced this highly anticipated anime adaptation during their panel at Anime Expo in July 2022. Crunchyroll's official synopsis describes the plot as follows:
"It's been over a decade since the sudden appearance of 'gates,' portals that connect our world to a different dimension. Since then, certain humans have awakened with supernatural abilities. These individuals are known as 'hunters.' Hunters make a living by using their powers to conquer dungeons found behind the gates. In this challenging world, Jinwoo Sung, a low-ranking hunter, is considered 'the weakest hunter of humanity.' However, everything changes when he is gravely injured while facing high-level dungeons hidden within a low-level dungeon. At that moment, a mysterious mission window appears before him. On the brink of death, Jinwoo decides to accept the mission and embarks on an impressive ascent, while others are left behind."
The anime series is directed by Shunsuke Nakashige (known for "Mother of the Goddess' Dormitory") at A-1 Pictures, with Noboru Kimura (of "Gundam Build Divers" and "Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!") as the head writer. Tomoko Sudo, the character designer for "Alice in Borderland" and "Fragtime," is responsible for character creation, while the music is composed by the famous Hiroyuki Sawano (known for his work on "Attack on Titan," "Blue Exorcist," "Kill la Kill," and "Mobile Suit Gundam UC").
The manhwa "Solo Leveling," written by Chugong and illustrated by DUBU, debuted on Webtoon services in March 2018 and concluded in December 2021. Yen Press publishes both the manhwa and the original novel series in English.
Kadokawa publishes the manhwa in Japanese under the title "Ore Dake Level-Up na Ken" (I'm the Only One Leveling Up) and released Volume 14 of the compiled book on September 22.
