Aniplex unveiled a fresh look at the upcoming season of the anime adaptation based on Hajime Kōmoto's manga, 'Mashle: Magic and Muscles,' revealing an exciting promotional video and visual art on Saturday. The teaser includes a glimpse of the opening theme 'Bling-Bang-Bang-Born' performed by Creepy Nuts.

The preview introduces the cast members of the Divine Visionaries:

- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kaldo Gehenna
- Saori Hayami as Sophina Biblia
- Kishō Taniyama as Renatus Revol
- Tomori Kusunoki as Tsurara Halestone

This new season will cover the Shinkakusha Kōho Senbatsu Shiken-Hen (Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc), with its premiere set for January.

The first season debuted in Japan on April 7, streaming through Crunchyroll, offering both the original broadcast and an English dub.

Tomonari Tanaka (credited in Engage Kiss and Visual Prison) will helm the anime direction at A-1 Pictures. Yousuke Kuroda, known for work on My Hero Academia and Mobile Suit Gundam 00, will oversee the scripts, while Hisashi Higashijima (who worked on key animation in Tada Never Falls in Love) will handle character design. The music will be orchestrated by Masaru Yokoyama (with contributions to 2019's Fruits Basket and Astra Lost in Space).

The anime is considered a complete adaptation of the manga.

Both Viz Media's Shonen Jump service and Shueisha's MANGA Plus offer the digital publication of the manga in English, with Viz Media planning a print version. The official manga synopsis describes a world ruled by magic, but in the midst of this, a non-magical young man faces perilous situations. Armed only with his musculature, he confronts magic users in a stunning fantasy that defies convention.

The series premiered in Weekly Shonen Jump in January 2020 and concluded in July, with Shueisha publishing the 18th and final volume of the manga, along with a fanbook on October 4. The franchise expands through various novels and a theatrical adaptation.
